Hello my lovelies. I hope you’re all having a super fine Friday in these very strange times. I just so happens that today and Monday are bank holidays here in England. It’s Easter weekend. And it will be different from any other Easter I have experienced. There won’t be a trip to the garden centre to purchase spring/summer bedding plants because they’re not open. We will manage to make our gardens look interesting somehow. Challenge accepted!

Today is day 10 of Messing Around Challenge. Here are the supplies I used to prep a couple of art journal pages …..

Day 10 c

There are still quite a few art supplies from my stash that I haven’t used yet but I will have to dig around to find them. I might even beg a few bits from Sarah’s stash. The art bars were fun to use but the stencils are my favourite. Instant effect without much effort. So, without further ado here are the pages I prepped today …..

Day 10

As per usual, I have no idea how or what I will add to these pages but I know it’s going to be fun. I may use word prompts to build around. The words may reflect a sign of the times.

I guess that’s another week shot to hell. It seems the days are speeding by more quickly now that I have a routine to follow. My morning charity work is coming to completion for the season. I will have to find another project to fill that time. Goodness I wonder what I’ll choose.

As I mentioned earlier, it’s Easter weekend. So, I would like to wish everyone a very happy and fulfilling bank holiday weekend. I hope you all have a fabulous time.

Day d

So, I guess that’s my report for today. I hope you all have a super cosy evening doing something creative you truly enjoy. Until next time,

Let’s all keep on stitching and messing around with art supplies.

  1. Hi Lucie and Sarah, Easter wishes to you too. It’s a lovely quiet Spring day in my part of North East England and I’m trying my hand at baking some biscuits using the recipe on the flour packet. New territory for me!! Loving your daily artistic posts at the minute…as a key worker I look forward to reading them when I get home from work each day and trying to guess what your artistic endeavours will turn into. Thank you for keeping us in touch and inspired. Kx

    1. Hi Karen, I’m glad that my rambling gives you something to looks forward to after a long day at work. I’m not sure what you do as a key worker but I thank you for doing what you do. I hope you get to mess around with some art supplies soon. It might help you relax and refresh in order to carry on. Thanks for popping in today x
